Automate ideas. Shape the future.

Why should you choose Beckmann?

For more than 30 years, Beckmann Automation has been synonymous with innovative automation solutions and custom machine building. What began as a specialty in the garment processing industry has evolved into a versatile partner for automation projects across a wide range of industries.

Our core competencies lie in the development and manufacture of machinery for the mattress industry, the automated assembly of technical textiles, hydraulic rams, and the production of custom special-purpose machines and prototypes. Thanks to our high level of vertical integration, design, programming, control panel construction, assembly, and commissioning are all carried out entirely in-house.

This independence allows us to respond flexibly to customer requirements and implement customized solutions with short development times. Every year, in addition to our standard machines, we successfully implement numerous prototypes and automation projects—from the initial idea to the finished system.

Our machines are in use around the world and stand out for their reliability, high availability, and well-thought-out, future-proof design. We always pursue one goal: to create automation solutions that offer our customers a sustainable competitive advantage.

Hydraulic ram

Drive guardrail posts into the ground

At the end of 2025, we were made aware of the enormous delivery time issues affecting hydraulic rams on tracked undercarriages. Coupled with the ongoing shortage of skilled workers, this posed a major challenge for control system manufacturers.

After extensive initial planning, we not only successfully built a hydraulic pile driver within a matter of months, but also automated it to a large extent. We are currently able to offer exceptionally short delivery times.

We are pleased to now be able to offer our ROC 320 globally as part of our standard product line.

Robotics / Winders

Assembling Coils and Winding Zippers

In the textile industry in particular, labor costs are a significant factor for Germany as a production location. To counteract this, we are relying on robotics technologies to take over some of the handling tasks.

As part of a project for one of the world’s largest zipper manufacturers, we integrated a 5-axis robot into a spool winding machine. This robot not only handles parts of the winding process but also performs handling tasks such as assembling spool bodies, removing and applying printed labels, and sorting and ejecting the finished rolls.

Ultrasonic Cleaning

Washing Woven Fabrics

The enormous amount of energy consumed by conventional washing machines, which operate using a large number of heated water tanks containing chemicals, has made innovation necessary due to rising energy costs.

We took the “ultrasonic washing” concept—which has long proven effective for narrow fabrics—and adapted it for wide fabrics. This allowed us to reduce the number of water tanks, wash at low or no temperature, and, in many cases, clean just as well—if not better—without using any chemicals.

Mask-Making Machines

MNS / FFP2 / Beak-style masks

When the COVID-19 pandemic began, we faced new challenges. Within 8 weeks, we completed our first fully automated machine for manufacturing face masks and put it into operation at our customers’ sites. This enabled us to produce several million certified masks during the pandemic.

In addition to the machine for standard masks, machines for FFP2 masks and beak-style mask models were introduced shortly thereafter for customers throughout Europe.

Sausage Casings Machines

Food Packaging / Wrapping for Sausage Products

Together with our customer—a supplier to one of the largest sausage manufacturers in all of Europe—we designed and successfully implemented a fully automatic contouring and cutting machine for the production of sausage wraps (packaging).

The radial contour and tight tolerances for the filling weight were met, and several machines were delivered.

And many more!
